Ms. Ricchi serves on the Board of Directors of the Riverview School, a secondary school for learning disabled adolescents in East Sandwich, Massachusetts. 

In 1998, during her son’s first year at Riverview, Ms. Ricchi attended the school’s yearly benefit gala and saw an opportunity to improve fundraising efforts.  By the next year, Ms. Ricchi transformed the event from a simple buffet to a six-course gourmet dinner prepared by master chefs.  Furthermore, under Ms. Ricchi’s guidance, the gala auctions went from generating a modest $30,000 to generating well over $750,000.  Over the past eight years, Riverview has raised nearly $3 million from these auctions alone.
